Crashing a bike is always a scary endeavor, but when it involves a car it becomes a whole other terrifying ordeal. This Specialized Roubaix came to Ruckus with an absolutely mangled downtube…the result of being doored by a car. Luckily our customer walked away with only minor scrapes, but the carbon fiber frame was tremendously damaged. We had to completely machine down a fist-sized hole in the carbon before we could begin the repair. We are very excited about the repair results but even more ecstatic that we get to give someone’s bike a new life. Stay safe out there!
