One of the most common reasons people choose repair over a new purchase is for sentimental value. New bikes are just that, and come without any weight or attachment. This particular BH carbon fiber frame came to us with a cracked top tube. Of course, this is a common repair for us but the reason was not. This frame was a loved one’s bike and repair was the logical choice to keep both the bike and memories rolling. We’re not there yet, but hopefully fixing bikes can help mend hearts as well.
