While many currently say that #crossisgone, the ghosts of races past sometimes never leave. Some even leave seemingly indelible traces on our minds, bodies or frames. This carbon fiber Specialized Crux cyclocross frame is a remnant of seasons past. A local customer arrived one day (a few weeks after our Oregon season ended) with a frame broken from a dismount fail. We happily accepted the bike and machined out all of the damaged areas on the drive side seatstay, only to re-make it exactly how it was. ‘Cross may be ending, but now’s the perfect time to send us those frames damaged in races.
