Podcast

Kicking off 2018, Ruckus Composites debuts their first podcast: “Fiber Side Chats.” Ruckus Composites frequently fields questions from the community; the team wanted to dispel myths about carbon repair, inform their customers about the right way to repair, and position themselves as the experts in carbon fiber bicycle repair. Check out the latest episode of “Fiber Side Chats” here or wherever you get your podcasts.

Warehouse Sale

Ruckus Composites will host their first warehouse sale, on January 20, 2018, from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm, at their Portland headquarters (3380 SE 20th Ave., Portland, OR 97202). An assortment of carbon fiber bicycle frames (both previously-repaired and ready-for-repair) will be on sale at deeply discounted prices. As part of the sale, customers can purchase a ready-for-repair carbon frame, then jump in the repair queue that day. A portion of the proceeds from Ruckus the Composites’ warehouse sale will be donated to a local advocacy organization, The Street Trust. Get more info here.

2018 Price Guide

Also new for 2018, Ruckus Composites rolls out an updated price guide. Choosing from three tiers, customers can customize their repair experience. Their “Basic” package—and least expensive option—does not include finishing or body work; and matte black paint at the repair site will be blended to look excellent. The “Basic” package still features the best carbon fiber repair and clear coat, but less finishing means less work for the team, a lower price for customers, and faster turnaround time for all. “Modified” packages are $500-$600 and include base-color paint restoration but no graphics. Interested in the “Full” package? Starting at $600, the “Full” package includes everything from the lower-tier options but also includes full detailing and graphic restoration; meaning the bike will be returned good as new.
