Now here’s an accident that we see all the time. This carbon fiber Trek Madone came in for repair after the toptube was damaged by the handlebars. Our customer rested the bike down during a pit stop to go inside a supermarket and purchase a beverage and he returned to find the bike resting sadly on the ground, blown down by a gust of wind. The toptube was cracked in two places where the bars made contact.
