Often times people contact us with repairs of parts that are not necessarily broken, like this Serotta Fierte Ti. We received this titanium and carbon fiber frame with grey, bubbling clear coat and corroded cable stops. Although nothing was technically broken it was aesthetically very unpleasing, so we popped off all the rivets and reinstalled them. Since much sanding was necessary after the cable stop removal, our customer took this as an opportunity to get a “re-made” frame. We painted everything red, installed some brand new graphics and put clear coat over it. These carbon/ti frames are a unique and wonderful bunch, and we were very pleased to make one our own.
