The beauty of the modern carbon fiber bicycle partially relates to the cleanliness of the frame. Additions and innovations such as flat mount discs, through axles and internal cable routing contribute to the clean aesthetic. Although incredibly good looking, many advancements still have some kind of downfall. In this case the internal cable routing stress and flex caused cracking on the top tube of this Specialized Sworks Tarmac. As is typical for us, first we had to remove all the damage to stop further propagation of the cracks. We then performed out secret magic, smoothed out the area and painted it matte black again.
