One of the challenges of running a small business is deciding when to have someone professionally develop something or just to sit down and figure it out yourself due to limited revenue. A joke we like to make around the shop is “I m the best we could afford at the time.”
Ruckus Composites is growing and expanding and we are thrilled to be able to now work with amazing professionals that will help take our business to new levels.
For the past few months we have been working with our friends at The Daylight Studio to re-imagine what our website could/should/would be. We looked deeply into what people want from us.
- What is the real service we provide to them?
- What is our competitive advantage or niche?
- How do people use our website?
- Where do they go?
The straight forward answer is that we provide safe and professional carbon fiber bike repair. But when we looked a little deeper we found out that we are much more than that to a lot of people.
We begun to realize that we provide support and hope for a lot of people in tough situations. We are the friends that will help you when you fall (for whatever reason). We love all bikes and the freedoms they provide. We always fully and firmly stand behind our work and craftsmanship. We love listening to your ride stories or the crazy idea that keeps you up at night. We are going to make a great effort to grow our education base and teach people more about engineering and bicycle science. The cycling community is an incredibly unique, creative and curious community that never stops learning or asking questions and we want to help fuel it.
We are excited to use this new site as a way to show you who we are, what we do and for you to learn about bikes, materials, and science. Thank you for all the support, we are trying to be the best company we can be.
